Voice of Russia reports that North Korea has adopted a new national anthem, titled "Forward to Victory!".

Report from the China Post in Taiwan: http://www.chinapost.com.tw/asia/korea/2012/07/03/346318/NK-media.htm

It is said that Rodong Sinmun released the score and lyrics of this song on June 26th, 2012. The original title is "최후의 승리를 향하여 앞으로", named after a speech of Kim Jong Un on April 15. In my opinion it sounds more like a propaganda song for Kim Jong Un.

Indeed, I don't think it's a national anthem per se, but that's just the term the Russian media used (or translated it as).  An anthem?  Sure, given the cult of personality their leaders enjoy every song praising any of the Kims could be an anthem.  And with the way they control society, it could be termed a "national anthem", but that would be way to confusing, using the same term as the one meant for the main song representing a country.

I listened to the shortwave broadcasting of the Voice of Korea Chinese Service on 15100 kHz at 0300 UTC today. Still Aegukka was played at the beginning of their broadcasting.
